Was on the 11th day of the D3 regimen. Kip level were down to 3-4. Also notice decrease in frequency.

Had a kip 3 for around 45 mins which stopped at 1030pm. At 1130pm, another headache started which goes up to kip 7. The pain sensation was similar to cluster with the only difference that it was throbbing in nature. Comes in short waves but on the same side as the cluster with similar pain sites.
Never had this happen before.

I wasn't ready for this and the episode went on for a few hours. Even when the pain subsided, the right side of my head had a constant dull ache. Needless to say, didn't sleep much.

I was having heart throbbing sensation since on High D3 dose. I actually thought I was having a stroke or something and was toying with the idea of going to the ER.

Anyone has similar experience? What is happening?

Seen a HA specialist who recommended nerve block, pred taper and verapamil. Didn't do it since the D3 was working well last cycle.

The pain after the cluster hit was distinct enough for me to know the difference. Instead of the constant pain that builds up to an intolerable level, this built up to Kip7 and was throbbing/ in waves. Lasted about 4 hours.

I have both CH and migraines. I sometimes get hit by one and then the other, sometimes have hits that have both symptoms and when cycles end almost always have migraines on the opposite side.

Imitrex should help with both. Sometimes it doesn't.

I'm another one with CH and migraine, although I've not had them overlap.

Since you've got what looks to be both of them active at once you need to be careful with what medication you use as whilst some will work great for both, like imitrex injections, others can clash, so be careful of interactions.

Sounds to me more like the D3 is working or at least starting to work. When I used to get CH (thanks again Batch) my cycles always started and ended with normal migraine type headaches, usually with a bigger than normal hit which would be the beasts final death throes. See how the next week pans out.

Not sure about the heart pounding thing, might be just an adrenaline rush from the CH hit. I seem to remember getting palpitations sometimes when I was hit.

The trouble is, that your Doc will only be able and have the knowledge to put you on 'Big Pharma' medication and once you go down that route.......... :'(

I'm getting less day hits but still getting hit every 2 hours at night with kip 3. My head feels sore and sensitive to touch. It seems that some veins are inflamed and lying down makes them worse.

My last 25(OH)D test on 22 sep was 107 Ng/ml and calcium was 10.4. Trying to cut down D3 intake to go back to 80ng/ml.

A great set of posts!  You all have my attention...  I've a dozen or so migraineurs taking the anti-inflammatory regimen...  So far all but one report a complete remission and the one migraineur still getting hit with migraines for 2 to 3 days a month says they're tolerable enough to function.

The confluence of CH and migraine symptoms at the same time may be a horse of a different color... 

If I were to adjust the anti-inflammatory regimen to help during simultaneous attacks... I'd add more magnesium... ~600 mg/day, double the zinc to 25 mg/day...  and from out of left field... 400 mg/day curcumin (turmeric)...

Just be sure to take the curcumin with a meal...  400 mg is equivalent to 4 shrimp or chicken curry dinners.
