Hello. I am new to this site. I have had clusterheadaches since I was 12. I am 51 now. I am in the middle of a bad cycle. I am lying here awake because I dread going to sleep. I know the clusters will wake me up tonight. I can feel the shadow even now.

First, I have to ask, have you been diagnosed with cluster headaches? By a competent doctor?

If you are getting shadows try downing an energy drink like Monster, Red Bull, or 5 Hour Energy drink.
OTC pain killers are mostly useless against a cluster. Morphine won't even put a dent in a cluster.
