Bing'd it and read to the sentence part "achieve pain relief at 15 minutes following the start of stimulation". 15 minutes? Way too long. I get relief in 7 minutes with a 78 cent 2 ounce shot of 5 Hour Energy drink.
I'll wait a few weeks, months, years, for more information before I volunteer for the study.

while it may be, if successful, a 15 minute wait for relief now,  such a thing may be able to be developed in the future, to work quicker !
  mind you, our state government have been promising quicker train times for years !    we live in hope.
I say, keep researching !  don't dismiss something that could end up being that magic bullet.

Im hoping someone comes up with a cure, that in some way can be incorporated  into the exhaust fumes of my out board motor on my boat !  Inhaling a cure,   and ofcourse fishing for long extended periods,   ahhh  bliss
