I haven't been on this forum (fortunately) for over 2 years since it has been that long since my last cluster episode. I am grateful and feel lucky since some of you have this chronically and I hope for you everyday that this pain will end for you.
SInce my new episode I have been researching online or trying to figure out why I am so sore and have so much pain the day after the clusterhead ache. My neck clenches (only all on the cluster head ache side) my face hurts, my ear hurts, shooting pain, sometimes my teeth hurt, my scalp is sore and I have "shadows" of the cluster. Is this normal? It is pretty painful (no where nearly as painful as the cluster pain) and starts after the cluster is pretty much over. Right after the cluster headache It feels like someone beat my face in, my ear my eye my temple. During the cluster it feels like my eye is burning, bleeding, and pain in so intense so far I beg to go to emergency room at some point during out of desperation. I do not have any meds now to take care or abort this. My insurance wouldn't pay for oxygen however I am so lucky I found a medical equipment company that sold me a small tank, but it will only go up to 8 milliliters which I know is not ideal. I already used half the tank yesterday, but some oxygen is better than none....
Is anyone familiar with cluster tic? I am wondering if all the nerve pain I am having after is common with this. The numbness freaks me out in my right hand. any help appreciated..thank you!

while I am not familiar with the term "cluster tic" I do know the shooting pains you describe and the pain in the cheek and teeth. I googled cluster tic in the search bar at the top of the page to find discussions regarding the topic. You're right about the oxygen; at least 15 LPM with a non-rebreather mask does a great job aborting CH. Hoping things improve for you
