Last night I sent my first book manuscript to a publisher at his request! I won't know if they will buy it until the end of Jan, but it's a good start. :) I am excited!

Mike, it is much improved since you helped me with it in the early stages. I took a lot of your advice, and then had others read and give feedback.
Maz, It is about two high school seniors,a guy and a girl, who get kidnapped and flown to a lodge in a very remote area of Maine. The pilot hit a goose on takeoff and crashed leaving them stranded. They have to learn to live together and work together, yet maintain their Christian beliefs. Meanwhile, back home the parents have to deal with the loss of their children. The girl's father, widowed for three years meets a nurse who treats him for his panic attack and falls in love, and the police detective working on the case is handicapped by having no clues with which to work. I wrote it with Young Adults in mind, but adults that have read it have said it is a page turner. I'm pleased with it and hope it really does well, but one never knows. Jerry |
