Stem Cell therapy.
If you google these words you will find that PRP therapy is helping TN (trigeminal neuralgia) patients.  Thought to place this on CH site - seems the PRP could help our pain.

Thanks, noed. All new information about headache treatment is important to everyone who must endure headaches.

We need just that one silver bullet, that one magic dart, so all research matters.

Bloody good onya.

I have been a CH sufferer for over 30 years now. 6 years ago I had to have an arterial stent inserted. I was advised that the particular stent had a slow release medication. For 2 years following the procedure I did not suffer any CH's then, they returned.  Perhaps that medication was the "magic bullet" for me - I don't know?

Hi and welcome Mr T

It is impossible to know if the stent medication made a difference. It might have but then again there are lots of episodic people who can go a couple of years between cycles.

What was the medication?

I'm afraid I didn't ever find out what the stent was coated in. All I know is that is was a slow release medication to keep the artery open.
Thanks
Sam
