I have suffering with these CH for 3 years now. As of late the pain has been unbearable. Earlier this year my PCP prescribed me Tramadol. Honestly it works great while I'm taking it. But two or three days after I run out they come back like they never left. I've been given furiocet, imetrex and all the other standard ones that they give. All though the Tramadol works, it just became a controlled substance in August. Therefore, leaving me concerned with possible dependence. Is there anything someone can tell me to help prevent these headaches. I really dont get remission periods. The only remission I get is when I'm taking Tramadol.

Tramadol does not work for CH, and imitrex does, so I think you must have one of the other headache types, of which there are quite a few. You really need to get a diagnosis from a headache specialist neuro in order to find the right treatment. Very similar to CH is paroxismal hemicrania. Treatment is indomethicin.
