While weight loss is not a part of Cluster it's not unusual, when hit with a tough medical problem which is unpredictable and often hard to conttol, to experience a mood problem.

Low grade anxiety and/or depression , feelings of powerlessness, etc. are common with many chronic medical problems.

Please, consider finding a truthworthy soul and talk about your feelings and reactions. Getting outside of yourself is a source of relief.

G'day James, welcome, and I know exactly what you mean. The extra problem for many is that not eating regular meals is well known to make the headaches worse!

Can't win either way.

If you're taking topomax, it has an appetite suppressant in ii. That's what my doctor told me. I have lost 6 pounds in 4 days and I was already trying to lose but with no luck at all. The drugs we get are not pure drugs. They have many other  drugs mixed in them we don't know about.
