Just wanted to drop in and leave a personal thank you to DJ, this site and everyone here (past and present) that has helped advance cluster headache treatment though advocacy and support.

We have come a long way since DJ started this site and have been through a lot together as a patient group.
It always hasn't been easy keeping the ball moving at all, let alone moving forward, but this message board is where it all started and it continues to be an important part of cluster headache support, research and advocacy. It has saved lives, improved lives and been an important part of survival for sufferers and their families.

Advancement comes from the patient community and the roots of that community will always be here.

Some roots are deeper and covered in a little more dirt than others, (lol) but they all have grown and supported a tree that is bearing fruit.

Thanks again to all here, especially DJ and Steph.

I'll add my thanks to that. Without this site, and all of you, my life would be very different.

I know where my life is now and where it was just before I found this place. The difference is incomparable thanks to people who knew what I was going through and they cared enough to help.

I'd like to echoe those sentiments.

I've only been here a couple of months and already this Community has helped me more than I can say.

i remember (check the archives) giving Floyd crap about this crazy shroom , LSD "cure' he spoke of...I had done both in my younger years  and still ended up with CH,,,,an yet...being someone with CH who claimed he would TRY ANYTHING..(if you suffer from CH and don't say that...you are a dumbass).i submitted...finally grew a batch of shrooms..Since that time , I have been, instead of periodic 6 months or so of excruciating pain...pain FREE...for going on 12 years now. PAIN FREE...CH FREE...due to what this wacky guy suggested. Did i mention 12 Fuckin years CH free?...i cannot in anyway thank Deej and Clusterbusters enough.

Bald guys don't have dandruff.

As a matter of fact....This month of April just happens to be the anniversary of when he started this site in 1998.

  I typed in Cluster headaches in a google seach,  shortly afterward and found this site.

Since then thousands have been helped, hundreds have contributed to all the information here and elsewhere and many, many other sites have been started giving help to so very many.  So many owe their very life to DJ.  (He will tell you he just started the ball rolling and all of us who contributed, researched, etc did the rest.)

Over the years I've talked to or heard of,  so many who were about to do the un-thinkable.  Because of this site and all the support here...many were talked out of the deed and went on to get their CH under control.

  THANK YOU DJ.  We love you.

Linda, you are spot on, as usual.  I was at the end of my string when I found this place.  I owe DJ my life, whether he's bald or not.  :-)  I will forever call him "friend."
