12 of my high school classmates threw a birthday party for me and it was so much fun (a bunch of "senior citizens").

We had dinner at a really nice restaurant (one with a lot of memories for all of us) and "war" stories were told till we were all falling on the floor laughing. (Those OLD people remember stuff I'd forgotten - or at least tried to :))

Anyhow it was worth getting older to have this great party. And the giant chocolate chip cookie decorated like a birthday cake was the topper..

I'm still grinning this morning.. It was just a great day..

And my kids surprised me last weekend so I've had a week long birthday..

Now back to the real world.. ::)

Happy Birthday Barbara. It sure sounds like you've been having a wonderful time of it too. Sometimes it is a pity that birthdays are a year apart.

What Linda said! Happy birthday. Keep them coming, but only on an annual basis. It's to hard to keep up with them if you do it more often. :-)
