Damn, havent seen him since 2011.

Any help would be appreciated.

I get three month cycles every few years. It starts slowly, one a week to daily and graduates into headaches after 2 hours of sleep/ rem sleep every time. Its gonna get worse I know.

imatrex takes them away,
prednisone for a week every month for a short break to recoup.

oxygen doesnt help
Have tried other drugs but its been so long I cant remember what they are.

Has anything new come out in the last few years?
Any ideas are welcome, I can always ask my neuro if hes prescribed before.

Pleased you got a 4 year break, but sorry that you are back in cycle.

For oxygen, have you read up the oxygen page - START PRINTPAGEMultimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!! You need to

END PRINTPAGE ? The critical things are a high flow rate, a non-rebreather mask and getting onto O2 as soon as the CH starts.

Have you read up about vitamin D3? Lots of us are getting huge help from it, some going multiple years pain free with it (3 for me).

Your're missing a major treatment--a preventive to block attacks.

See a doc who knows headache????
