Title: Homefill System Post by hillblazer on Apr 7th, 2015 at 5:11pm
Hi, I just got an Invacare Homefill II O2 system given to me and I can buy an adapter to fill E tanks with it.
Has anyone done this with success? Does the Homefill system produce pure enough oxygen to abort CH's? I've read it produces 92 to 96% pure O2. I assume the E tanks I get are 99% but they cost me 15 bucks each and I can go through 1 or more a day. Thanks everyone for all the excellent advice given on these boards. It's been a huge help in fighting this terrible diseases. Brent |

I should have given a little more info. I've had CH's for about 25 years and was finally diagnosed about 15 years ago.
I use a mask that looks very similar to the one recommended that I bought from a fellow sufferer several years ago that made them. I think it was called a Clustermax mask. I use a 15 lpm regulator and I have 7-E tanks. They usually don't last a whole week and the place I exchange them is over 40 miles away and they cost $15.00 ea. I've tried several prescrip. preventatives and non have worked. The only thing that's works so far is O2 for most of them. I have Imitrex injs. for the real bad one's that I use once or twice a day on most days. I tried 60 RC seeds for the first time last Friday and I'm going to give them a try again tomorrow. I sure hope they help! |

Have you tried the D3 regimen? It's working for a lot of us. I've been PF since Oct 2013 and counting. Only thing that's worked on me. Worth a try. :-*
