Hey there,

My little country, Ireland, did a remarkable thing today, for equality and inclusivity in our society.

History was made today as we are the first country in the world to ask our citizens to change our constitution to allow same sex marriage to have equal status in law with the rest of the citizens. A resounding YES was returned.

Very, very proud, as it is an enormous change from the society I grew up in during the sixties/seventies

So far Peter.. I live on top of a hill and the water hasn't reached me yet. But we've NEVER had this much rain .. I'm ready for some sunshine and DRY for a change.

We're not getting it as bad as Houston and Austin, but flooding is a problem on the roads.. All the lakes are flooding all around us - it's just a mess..

Guess it will quit one of these days.. :-*

I truly believe that homosexual people should be allowed to marry each other.

Let 'em suffer like the rest of us.
