I had a nice night out last night with some old friends and came home in a really good mood.. and THEN...

When I started in the house.. I FELL in.. don't have a clue what happened, but I fell in the door and I think I twisted my ankle and pulled a muscle in my calf.. Anyhow this morning I can barely walk. And it's painful as hell....

I've got one of those heat packs on it now and if that don't help, I'm heading for the ER to get it x-rayed.. My doc told me I was too damn old to fall down and go boom boom... Methinks he might have been right!

So ya'll have a nice weekend while I moan in pain... Good news - at least it's not a CH.. but from my knee down it HURTS! (A little sympathy here please! :)) :-*

Sorry, I just couldn't help myself! Hope you get over it quickly. Stuff like that may not be CH, but it still hurts, and pain is pain. It also gets in the way of getting around very well. [smiley=hug.gif] [smiley=kiss.gif]

Echoing Jerry's comments, pain is pain which is never fun.

Hope nothing is broken and that it'll be back to normal soon.

Well, I'm not broken - just cracked. Small bone in my calf (I think he said the fibula or something). anyhow I'm on a walker with some nice pain pills for the next couple of weeks..

This is NOT my idea of fun.. And this walker is not my idea of how to get around the house.

Then my doc looks at me with this totally innocent look on his face (and we've known each other waaay too long) and asks, "Were you drunk when this happened?"

I looked back at him and yelled, "Hell NO - if I'd been drunk I wouldn't have gotten hurt you idiot!" :) I really think I'm his comic relief..

Oh well, I guess I'll be catching up on my reading and rest and whatever .. hope there's something worthwhile on TV (not a chance).
