Title: link between CH and cymbalta?
Post by LynnG on Aug 29th, 2015 at 1:17am
Hi everyone,
CH strikes me  every second April. Due to anxiety and stress 3 weeks ago(unrelated to CH) I was placed on cymbalta, a selective serotonin/noradrenalin reuptake inhibitor. I had a CH hours after taking the first tablet! I am not in the CH cycle at all just now. Anyone else out there found anti anxiety meds bring on CH? Needless to say, I am trying naturopathy instead as all I need on top of this anxiety is a CH!
Love and kind thoughts to all of you out there who are suffering just now.

It's premature to assume that one dose of a new med is the cause of the cluster attack. Try a few more doses before you draw a conclusion.

My neuro gave me cybalta for "arthritis" (instead of Celebrex), but I've had no adverse effects from it ... no CH.. but then, I don't take it except on days when Arthur comes to visit..

Like Bob said, give it a try before jumping to conclusions. These headaches DO change course without notice..  :-*
