Title: Anyone ever get stuck with headache along with D3.
Post by jackieg on Nov 29th, 2015 at 10:46am
I have been episodic for 30 years, with a 6-12 week cycle every 12-18 months usually in the fall. My neck started hurting with a low grade headache about 6 weeks ago and I knew it was time to prepare. It has been 3 years due to broken cycles thanks to seed therapy.  So I started the D3 regimen about 3 weeks ago along with seeds every 5 days. I have had continuous neck discomfort and low grade shadows on and off but quite manageable. It feels as though I am fighting the big hits off as I get through this cycle. But last night and this morning I had to fight harder with Kip6 level aches lasting about 2 hours. I don't want to crack the 02 and give in to it. Has anyone experienced this overall headache neck pain and successfully gotten through a cycle without the big ones hitting?

Hello jackieg.

To answer your question...I have.  My first use of the D3 regimen was at the beginning of a headache cycle. The number of headaches was reduced by around 75%, and the pain levels didn't reach above a 5 out of 10. That was 30 months ago, and my yearly cycles have been prevented since then, with the exception of a few random attacks, which haven't required O2. I stay on the regimen year round. Seeds failed me. The problem with them is that you can't count on consistant potency. A good brand of D3 and co-factors will have guaranteed content by a testing company, such as USP.

Take care.

Thank you, Patti. Did the last cycle end abruptly or did the pain rev up a little as it usually does and then end? I feel as though I am keeping them down with the fear that they are going to break through. Is there a sign that the cycle is coming to an end?

I understand your fear that they will break through. What you're currently experiencing isn't unusual, based on others' accounts. The pain can be more diffused, or even on the opposite side. But just the fact that it's different suggests that the D3 is working. A lot of people have commented on their cycles acting weird. My last cycle did not end abruptly. It lasted the usual length of time (6 weeks), and my diary indicated that it followed a similar pattern to past cycles...just much less intense. It still revved up and concluded in a similar way to past cycles. If you have been at this for 30 years (me too :) ), then you must have a good handle on how your cycle usually ends. You might get even better results than I did if you try the loading doses which Batch describes in his Anti-inflammatory post START PRINTPAGEMultimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or RegisterEND PRINTPAGE. Thanks again. I am going to try Benedryl. I am actually experiencing another K5 the same time as last night, so I guess it is not the Naproxen. Hopefully it winds down soon.

Hey Jackieg,

I use Benadryl when necessary, to good effect. BUT, a word of warning if it's not already been mentioned. It can make you quite drowsey and not really fit for driving.

So I suggest you take it in the evening when you know you're home for the night.

Best of luck,

Peter.
