Well, at least this survey sorts out the facts.

He must be good, Maz, because your impersonation of a Kip-8 sure had me fooled. Specially when you pretended your Imigran pen had decided not to work. Best entertainment we've seen in that pub for a while. |

It was a lesson well learned Brian - always carry two.
Those pens are no longer available so I have a different kind now. They often don't work but I've mastered how to pull them apart and use a cotton bud, as per the imitrex tip I found here. I didn't much like being the star of the show, but I did like the VB. [smiley=beer.gif] |

Great! I can now expect to have this crap the rest of my life. :P Quote:
My current cycle began on October 13. I am such a rebel! Quote:
Who are these women surveyed?? My average knockout time with O2 is 5-7 minutes! :-? All in all an interesting read. Thank you for sharing the link, Hoppy! Oh, and shut up Boob P! [smiley=bash.gif] |

No you won't Mel. I observed long ago that those women who have early age of onset are usually episodic and may "outgrow" CH. Those women with a late age of onset are usually chronic and will have it till the end. You will outgrow yours! |

Mine started when I was 57. I was episodic. But I'm well on the way to becoming chronic with this episode. It started in early february, and although it's been very mild, I have had no more than a 3 day break since it started. I'm 65 now.

Well, since wimmens don't get CH.. this study just is a waste of time ... guess I just had a "long" headache for all those years until D3.. (might have been megranes).
Oh well.. so much for studies.. :-* |

Hi Maz, Sorry to read you've been doing battle with the beast since February, I have my fingers x this doesn't apply to you x Hoppy |

Thanks Hoppy.
I wouldn't really call it a battle - it's been extremely mild. Over the months I've had only half a dozen or so,at K6 or above. Most have been K3, or just shadows, but it's definately been there the whole time. Maybe they have only been K3 because I get on the 02 fast, so they don't get chance to develop. I have had to use a few injections but that was when I had run out of 02. Or maybe D3 is helping, but I cut back on it because I felt nauseous all the time. Still taking some though. It's almost impossible now to see a doctor - or at least, the ones you want to see, so have not had blood tests done for a long time. When you try to make an appointment they always put you with the new ones, straight out of uni who have no idea. I've been sent home with a prescription for paracetomol for my "headaches" so many times that I've given up trying. I think I'm the only one who can help me - and you guys of course. Even my brother is struggling to see his doctor - and he had a kidney removed 10 days ago. No follow up appointment from the hospital and no doctors appointments available for over 2 weeks. But as I say, this has been a long cycle, but not a bad one. I think I prefer it this way. |

Maz, I'm not sure if feeling nauseous has anything to do with the vitamin D regime, I haven't heard it mentioned before, maybe shoot Batch a PM. Don't you have the family doctor there any more? At least here you can see a doctor the same day! Bulkbilled or Private.

OK...Mel ...i am infrequent hereabouts...I think i coined the name "Boob" for Bob P...so happy to see that it lives on...encourage newbies to use it when responding to Boob's posts...I think it kinda chaps his butt. Butt i digress...Gerls have periods...they are not allowed to have CH too.
