Title: What's your good news? Post by Callico on May 13th, 2016 at 1:47am
It's been since September that anyone has posted on Akina's great thread. I think it's time to start it up again. :-)
I'll start it off with two great things: 1) Sunday will mark 44 weeks 99% PF. It's pushing 15 yrs since I had a long break, and close to 40 since I have had this long of a PF period. I got a little over-confident a while back and quit taking 5 MeO DALT and the beast has been knocking, but nothing over a level 5/6, and not more than one every few days. I can live with that! I'm back on 5 MeO DALT, though, and I expect to be back to the near PF status I've been enjoying. 2) [i]STranded at Romson's Lodge[i] will release a month early, on May 21! Check with your favorite bookseller. All the best, jlc |

Fishing this morning and caught the perfect barramundi. Just on 2kg, sleek and shiny as they come, and this is amongst the greatest table-fish Australia has to offer.
It was a bit of a first for me because I usually only get 'em during the the closed season and release them every time for all the right reasons. I'm doing roast pork and all the trimmings for a mob of singers tonight, and barramundi is only perfect when cooked fresh, so to keep my little fishie would be wrong and I watched him swim away. My other bit of good news is that I have no bad news at all. Full steam ahead and damn the torpedoes, Brian down under. |

We all hang out for the weekend as soon as our alarm goes off on Monday morning but you might not anymore. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the US, more people die on Saturday than any other day. The good news? Sundays are the least deadly. So if you survive Saturday, you have a good chance of making it through for your dose of Mondayitis :)

My high school class is meeting tonight for a cookout. Looking forward to seeing all those "old people" :). We're know as the class of the perpetual reunion.. Our last get together was in March and I think we're already working on one in July (just haven't told the guys who's house we're invading yet).
But this morning I'm getting wound up to be 18 again for a few hours. :-* |

Good news I strongly value is that Donald Trump clinched GOP's 'magic number' for nomination. ;)

Came back from Afghanistan in february. My teams JTAC got shot in the leg, another teams bravo got shot through the backside (we will never let him live it down), but other than that, no American casualtues.
Just got back from Advanced leaders course a week ago. I'm enjoying my time at home. And best part of all, my unit is on board with my... "alternative treatment" for cluster headaches. It's been over a year now since my last battle with the beast. I'm only home for a few months a year, but I couldn't ask for a better unit. |

My good news is that I'm back, and I can't believe someone resurrected my thread! I'm completely honored you all think this is such a great idea!
My other good news is that I now own my own business. I run around in a tool truck selling tools all day. Hint as to the franchise: I sell the best tools and the ones every other truck tries to copy. :D |

Welcome back Akina

It was a great idea. Far too often on here we only see the negative sides of CH as it impacts on peoples lives. This thread shows that we all have good news too in our lives. Hope the tools business goes well too. |

What Mike said. ^^^^
All the best with the business, my friend. I know a couple of guys who do what you do, and they do well. Another guy didn't, but he didn't treat it like a business. It will be what you make it to be. Jerry |

My good news is that I was able to help two CHeads today, and a Supporter, just by passing on some of the accumulated knowledge here at ch.com.
We really can offer sunshine and some hope. |

Well done, Brian. That's what keeps this family going.
The good news on my front is I was interviewed for a blog post on books that released on my birthday, and then I got to participate in a large online radio broadcast about books yesterday evening. Since the other guest didn't show up, I was featured for the whole hour! Two awesome birthday presents! jlc |

Not sure if I should post this. It might jinx me. But, it's my good news so I'll post it anyway.
I became a chronic CHer five and a half years ago. Today is number 40 days without any headaches. I don't know why they suddenly stopped and I ain't going to question it. I'm 69 years old and after 43 years maybe I've finally aged out. 😀 |

My partner just swam 13.5km in the sea from County Clare to Galway (Ireland) in aid of a charity called "cancer care west". She did it in 4 hours.
I was in her support boat. I'm very proud of her |
