Title: Low Dose Naltrexone Post by Giovanni on May 20th, 2016 at 9:36am
I've done a search on the internet and could not find another example of a CH person taking this drug. Does anyone here have any experience with it?
I'll be short for the time being as I have been on this medication for a couple of weeks now, but for right now, it has been VERY encouraging. I am chronic and had gone to an MD who practices "integrative medicine". She is NOT a neurologist. This time I wanted something different. I've been going to a neurologist for 22 years and have tried everything without much help in the "preventative" category. I wanted to try some different this time and found this doctor who was willing to work with me. Anyway, if any of you have heard of this drug or have any knowledge I would appreciate your comments. 22-years with the same doc and no relilef!
Time to seriously consider finding a doc with knowledge re. Cluster and to address the possibility that you do not have Cluster. If you want help in locating a hedache specialist, get back and ask for guidance. And look at this posting to see that there are many disorders which mimic Cluster but whicah are not headache disorders. ==== Look under: Medications, Treatments, Therapies -› Important Topics ->Cluster-LIKE headache |

Give me a break Bob. I've been diagnosed by multiple neurologists as well as general medical practitioners. I am classic cluster headaches poster boy. I've used everything in their cook books will little relief. I no longer can take triptans because of a heart condition. I use high flow O2 now for abort which works well. The best thing I had ever used several years back was lithium and verapamil which eventually stopped working. Right now I'm ready to explore different avenues as the old ones just didn't work that well considering the side effects. I asked a legitimate question not for a diagnosis.
