Title: Cluster receeding, left with constant dizziness? Post by MaritimeMan on Dec 1st, 2016 at 3:20pm
Had clusters since I was a teen. (now in my 40s)
I am one of the lucky(?) ones as they are pretty predictable: Clusters last 5-7 weeks, attacks 1-2 hours, same time of day, usually a year or two between clusters. This latest one is on the downswing, (ie attacks have a lower kip scale) but I am left with constant light headiness/dizziness. Anyone experience this? Suggestions? |

Are you taking a preventive which is also a blood pressure medication, like verapamil? This could account for a lower blood pressure which could result in these symptoms.
However it could also be something unrelated to CH, so it is always best to check out changes like this with your doctor. You also say that your attacks are 1-2 hours. Do you have anything to abort a CH, like oxygen or imitrex injections / nasal spray? These can drop the duration of a CH significantly to a few minutes. |

I haven't heard of light headiness/ dizziness before, the only thing that comes to mind are shadows, and that's normally just a dull pain, which a Red Bull the one with taurine normally takes care of, so it's always best to check in with a Headache Specialist when something out of the norm occurs.
