I'm having a procedure done on Thursday.. and will get general anesthesia.  I'm scared of both.  I have a problem with anesthesia, and have had very bad reactions to epinephrine, should it be needed.

Also, I'm afraid of the outcome of this test.  So, inasmuch as you all have any left in you, please send some vibage, love, prayers, whatever you got in your heart, my way.  I have never been afraid of  these things, but now as I'm not in top health, it's a different story. :-/

It is scary, just make sure they know what has happend in the past, make sure reactions are annotated on your notes and all will be well

I know it is hard to not worry and stress before the test, both about the procedure and your history, and the results.  Anxiety however can be harder on you than the actual problem.

So..  
I'm home, I was with my mom from early this morning.  
I've been feeling somewhat uncomfortable since the procedure, since he decided to take a biopsy, which meant I couldn't go to work.  Oh well, ole bossman will have to be strong :P

I wasn't sure what I'd hear but the first thing the anesthesiologist said, that I heard anyway, was "Patricia, wake up, the doctor found something".  Mind you, I was not even half alert and I'm hearing this so I panicked.  Just add to my stress why dontcha!

On the up side, the findings were not anything in and of themselves anything to be scared of, more a hodgepodge of separate symptoms,  which collectively mAY be something.  But on the downside, I had to go to the hospital afterwards for more blood tests  I will then wait two weeks, upon which, I will hear my pathology results right before I go into another procedure.  

Other than the fact that I am uncomfortable, headachy and sleepy, I'm relieved.  I must say that thinking of all your well wishes on this thread, and of course Michael Buble, my future husband, as I went under, made it a lot less stressful.  

Thank you to those of you who called me, it really gave me a boost to hear from you..
