Barb, check the ouch board under convention.  There's a button that says who's registered.  That doesn't mean that more won't come, it simply means that some people are procrastinators.

If you haven't reserved your room though it could cost you more after a certain date that I can't look up right now because I am trying to do 3 things at once at the moment.  

Helen there is nothing funner than having a drink with Elaine and of course Jackie.   Trust me.   ;D ;D ;D

Gotta tell you all about something about that.

Stephanie told me she collects a certain wine from the Napa valley in California sort of near where I live...and asked me if I ever found a bottle would I get it for her.

So I am in the Napa Valley and I go to this antique store.  In the very last booth and way down in this dark aisle I see the bottle she is referring to.  I ask the saleslady how much.  She says 30.00.   30 dollars is a LOT in my opinion to pay for a bottle of wine so I say NO and leave.  I get backhome  and PM Stephanie and tell her about it, give her the year, etc.  and she PM's me back saying "Linda, you're gonna be sick"  That bottle was worth 500.00 bucks.

Stephanie doesn't love me anymore, and I don't blame her.    ;D

edit to add:  That one bottle of wine could have probably paid for a year for this very site.  I'm not just sick...I am kicking myself in the butt that I didn't have her number so I could  go outside and call her to ask,  before I said no and left.   where is my ass-kicking smilie?  


I am certain one of you can come up with THAT ONE!

Nope, I almost lost my house when I didnt follow the number one rule, "work if you have work". I was flying around the country and forgot that rule, because you folks were so addictive. Oh I can't wait, I truly can't wait!

You know what one of the "best" bits is going to be for me?

Getting on a plane WITH Paul - no airport goodbyes. This is a first for us (flight together I mean) and I'm so excited. I didn't think it possible to look forward to conventions more than I already did but oh yes I can!  :)

One mention of airport goodbyes and I'm a quivering wreck. Can't even watch them on television. I'm off now...   :'(
