Survived the storm here.  My daughter, Katie called about 10:00, she was just a few hundred feet down the road and couldn't get home because there were two trees down and blocking her way.  John and I got in the truck, drove down, hooked some chains up to the trees and pulled them off the road so it was passable.  Katie got tired of waiting, turned around and went into town to stay at a friends house.

Looking outside this morning and I'm suprised we have no trees down, just a blown over basketball hoop.  The trampoline did survive this storm. (two previous trampolines did not)

Beth  :)

We had quite a bit of lightning and thunder -- it was quite a show, but not damaging as far as I can tell, so far.

Thanks for asking,

Ray

Kinda used to that about once aweek! Musta been beating on the misses again. I feel sorry for them 9 kids though! I gotta go out and rearrange the furniture in the front yard, but that's about it. Sure am glad the boy's got that third arm, it'll come in handy moving that washer back onto the front atrium. Don't yuns worry bout us here, weuns will put it all back gether faster then yuns can skin a cat!Gotta go the possums a crawling outda kettle. ma will kill me if dinner ain't ready when she gets home from the wrestling match!

I am SOOOOOOOOO sick of this bullshit.  Conner ran into our bedroom about 445 this morning!!  LOL  It was just really good lightning and then hail, marble size annnnd thheeeeennnn golfball size.  A county away they had baseball and tennis ball size!!  Ridiculous.

Last weekend it started Friday night, finally stopped Monday, after 8 inches of rain throughout the weekend.  We got another 1 1/2 inches last night. We have a crrek about 1/4 mile from the house in the park, it peaked last Wednesday at 28 feet.  I'd say we are over it!!

50% chance for more storms today and tomorrow...DAMN IT!!

Vegas can't get here soon enough!!!

...the beers ok though

oh great.... now its our turn...  Tornado watch is in effect.

Beer and wine is safe in an inner room, away from windows and doors.

The whole system dove south and missed us completely.  Not even a rumble of thunder.

Just a little rain and few thunderstorms here at DavCon we miss alot and I believe the Mississippi River helps deflect it away. Terry

What a beating you people are taking.

It's been a cool May here but all we get is rain and light hail.

Hang on to that beer kids.
