Beautifully done, Charlotte.

I like the first one for your translation of the sunlight on the colors on the landscape.

The second image of the butter-colored hills laced with greenery along the watercourses reminds me of landscapes that I see every day. Am I correct in thinking that the painting reflects how the scene might look late in the day?

I couldn't pick a favorite. :)

Always nice color Charlotte, purples and greens. Wish my walls had some of this scenery to gaze into on them.

I like the colors in the first one, but I like the composition of the second one better. Makes me wish I were there with you to capture it in photographs!

Thanks for sharing those. The second one really conjures up my memories of California. From the few times I have visited to the movie "There will be blood" (strange movie, but lovely, open landscapes).
