for the first time ever. Sigh. Now I am work, with a raging HA, wondering what the hell to try next.

I once had my triptan fail me on the job. I grabbed a bag of ice and applied it to the back of my neck and head. It worked, it was like the drug just needed a little push. Good luck to being PF soon.

I used to go to my car and sit with my face in front of the A/C vent at full. It was a Ford Probe back then and it had an A/C unit that you could have stored meat in when it was really kicking.

Got access to any heavy duty energy drinks like Red Bull?

PF free now, mostly. Head is sore. I pounded two big cups of black coffee and put a cold rag on my neck. Still took about an hour to fade out.

Drew, check the expiration date on your Trex. Even though it is usually good for a long time after the date....it does have a shelf life.

It was the first of my new prescription, as I used all the old stuff up first. I guess it doesn't always work. I had a Kip 7/8 last night at midnight and the shot had me PF and back in the bed within 30 minutes.

Sadly, I am down to 3 shots left and I have to wait another 15 days before I can get more. My appeal is pending.

seasonalboomer-

most impressive that you could run up grandfather mtn while in cycle!! I have been to grandfather mtn several times ( I live in Mooresville NC) and the thought of walking up while not cycle- geez :o- Your tough! kudos to you and your saggy eye

In the past, when I found myself in that situation, I would go into the boiler room at work where I know nobody would be. Well there were roaches and mice back there but a clusterhead is much scarier. They were more afraid of me thats for sure. Anyway, I would do push ups til my arms were about to fall off. Pushups has always been a tiresome, last resort but effective way for me to abort an attack

i never really get mine at work, only happened 1 time and i took 8 of the asprin that were in the first aid kit and went to the head to ride it out, after 45 minutes i went out of the stall to see 2 co-workers standing there listening to me suffer, after a few " what the hell was that bill " comments and "you sounded like you were turning into a warewolf" and back to work i went, but it seems like the beast was letting me glide thourgh work hours, sorry about your hits. coach bill
