So Carrie--how's the implant working for you?  Hope things have significantly improved on that front.

It definitely has made a difference!  It's hard because it's still early, and I'm working on developing a log that I can keep daily on how it's going, but I have definitely seen some good things.

For example, with the 1st cluster I had after surgery (maybe a week after surgery), it felt like someone had snuck up on me and slammed an anvil into the side of my head all the sudden - came on very quickly.  I didn't have the remote sitting right next to me, but I went upstairs and got it, turned the stimulator up, and the headache went away.  It's worked that way for other CH's I've had as well.  I have to map out whether I'm having fewer attacks overall.

Like I said, I still need to log the results to really determine how it's working, but I do think it's helping.  I think the programs still need a little adjusting in order to make sure all areas of pain are covered, but on the whole, I'm very happy with it.
