Anyone got any ideas that would help with what seems to be recurring laryngitis.

This started in Florida the end of March.  We used the a/c in the hotel room one night - woke up next morning with a wicked sore throat so didn't use the a/c anymore but since I've been home, I've had one bout after another of a sore throat and laryngitis.

Bill likely won't thank any of you for curing me ;D but I'd sure like to know if any of you know of something that might help.

Have already done the honey/lemon/hot water and warm salt water stuff along with Advil for the pain but it only clears up for a day or so and then right back.

Yes, I know, I should likely make an appointment with my doctor but I hate going.

GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!!

Carol, you already know the answer - Go to the doctor.  You've been dealing with this since March and none of the home remedies you have tried had worked.  Time to get professional help before it turns into something that can't easily be cured.  

I'm going to have to agree, Carol. See your dr, and get your throat cultured.
