That would be what we refer to as shadows.  It's not a full blown attack but has some of the hallmarks without all of the pain.  For some it's horner's symptoms.  For others (like me) it's just pressure and some relatively minor pain in the eye area.  Like a pair of salad tongs squeezing my eye.

If they are persistent enough I try a few things.  Usually in this order:

  • Strong Coffee
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Excedrine Migraine
  • An energy drink (w/1000mg of Taurine)
Others will be along with their magic recipies as no one thing works for everyone.

You don't ask doctors for oxygen, Sparkles.  You collect all the knowlege and information on the subject, hand it to them, and tell them it's what your gunna have.

Start by clicking on the link here START PRINTPAGEMultimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or RegisterEND PRINTPAGE  which was put together by Mad Barry while he was on parole.

Just to add to his... It is best to drop the info off a few days before your appt.  That way the Dr has time to digest it properly.  Then the two of you will be on the same page during your appt.

Good luck...

Now why didn't I think of that one; I might have O2 now if I had... ;D

Seriously, I hope that you'll get the O2, Sparkles. PF wishes are coming your way!
