Ok...cycle began May 2nd...left side, my primary side.  Slight break for a week and now it's on the right side some 12 weeks later.  Doctor increased my verapamil from 240mg to 360mg a day.  Also put me on a 3 week prednison taper - 60mg five days, 40mg five days, 20mg five days and 10mg for 6 days.  I still have the O2 and have Zomig zmt for acute issues.  I went to the appt. yesterday and just my luck I have a headache begin before I go in - needless to say I had to run to my truck twice for O2 since nobody on the base understood the urgency of my situation...doesn't it drive u nuts?  So now I'm battling a shadow from hell that will not subside, took 2 excedrin migraine and I think it may be moving along now...I had 3 rockstar drinks yesterday and I was jumping out of my skin.   :P  Once again, I appreciate the company here during this...you all are very helpful.  Conrad  ::)

Wow, hard to argue with the treatment rgimen they have you on. You may end up having to ratchet the verapamil up, some go as high as 960mg a day to get relief. As with all meds you want to work closely with your doc while increasing the dosing as there are always potential side effects. Hope the pred gives you some relief, that's my last ditch when all else is failing and I need some pain free time med!
