Being new has nothing to do with it Tanyana.  5 mins. with some of us brain-damaged people and you won't be new anymore.  ;D

There is several folks who live in Montana and Idaho, so I hope they see this.  Might want to wait til the snow melts though and the roads are passable w/o chains.   I'm in No. Calif.

thank you, it is so hard for me to what to say and how, or even where to say it.  I've noticed that there seems to be a social ladder here and just don't want to cross the line.  I am very intreasted in meeting more chers and for the sake of my husbands sanity I would love for him to meet other supporters.  Like Batch said, Skype is wonderful but is not subitute for actually meeting someone and giving them a hug.  Guess I just really want to reach out.  well, don't know what else to say so......

Thank you, Tanyana

and you have done a great job of doing JUST that sweetie.

Now....Potter, George, Karl, BBZ?   How about a get together?  What  do you say,  when the weather gets nicer?

(no social ladder.  Just those who've been here longer than others.  That's all.)

PM me if you need to talk, o.k.?   [smiley=hug.gif]  I'm always around here.   ;)

No social ladder here, Patty.  We're all just clusterheads, same as you.

I'd be glad to have an excuse to head up to CDA.  Maybe I could pick Karl up on the way.

Roads are a bit messy right now, but pick a time that's convenient, okay?  I'm sure we can work something out.

Would love to meet you folks.   :)

Colorado here.  I always wanted to meet other diagnosed clusters.  I'm new, but my need has always been there.

Heh.. I have an odd thought.  I wonder what it was like at other conventions... with tanks of oxygen filing in, and an odd bit of screaming at night.  Not a... conventional convention.

Actually, it should say a lot about us as a people.  Its a convention of sufferers of the most painful ailment that can afflict a human being and from pictures... everyone looks happy

Yes, there are 02 tanks coming in for those that need it in their rooms but I assure you, there are NO odd bits of screaming.  If someone is in a meeting or at dinner and start to get hit...they quietly go off to their room, do whatever they need to do and come back when they're ready.  The entire room understands.

Once my room was really far from where we were and I got hit FAST and knew there was no way I could travel that far w/o making a scene, so I sat down on a bench surrounded by other sufferers and someone brough me a tank &  let me squeeze their hand til it was over.

I'm only telling you this here so you won't be afraid of going to any get-together or convention thinking that it might be a nightmare.   It isn't.   In fact, once you go to even one....you'll be hooked.  These people are fantastic.

That's the "specialist" part of meet and greets and conventions. Watching someone getting hit, tanks, masks, ice packs appear...the conversation never wanes, it's like someone is blowing their nose. It's totally no big deal. On top of that...you gte to meet some really really cool people....

We were hoping to follow ch-hell up when he brings you your puppy. He has been talking about flying into Boise, but we suggested spokane wa as we live only thirty minutes away and spokane would be closer to Lewiston I believe. I will pm you are new number in case you want to call. But Cole and I would need to find some gas money to do that.  We might be able to find it on our own though.
Hang in there and fight that beast.

What part of Idaho? I have a friend I've been wanting to see in McCall or Meridian. I'm another from Colorado, so it would be fairly easy for me to get there.
