Hello everyone!!  I haven't forgotten about you all...just been a bit overwhelmed busy!  You can now make your reservations for our annual Midwest Gathering in St. Louis for Thursday, January 13th, 2011 thru Monday, January 17th, 2011.

We will again be staying at:

The hotel is located about a mile or so from Lambert/St.Louis International Airport.   They have free transportation from the airport...and also to areas within a 5 miles radius of the hotel.

Our group code is CLUSTER  and the rate is $62.99.

I have blocked 10 King rooms, 5 smoking and 5 non.  If you are needing something different that shouldn't be a problem, just please specify at the time of making the reservation.

We are booked. And so that there is no misunderstanding this year (dear husband) I have made both the airline AND hotel reservations. Locked and loaded!  Arriving Thurs, leaving Sunday afternoon.

Bumping this up a bit. Any newer person reading this, book a ticket and come! There is no schedule of events, we hang out and talk all day long. You will speak one on one with a bunch of people who actually get what you're going through. If you're a supporter, you'll get a chance to talk with other supporters who have walked and are walking your path. Buddy won't travel in the winter darn it, he really can not take the cold weather. Also with my health right now I would be afraid to fly. I would catch something for sure. I guess we will be staying home :-(

After 4 hours in the car with him, we are dumping him off at Best Western.

I have a box of crayons and a brand new coloring book I'll give you Joe.  It's a 4-drive so if Jimi and Ruth get tired of you, we'll all stop and you can ride with us for a while.  MY cds are all country music.   ;D

I can't believe it is almost Christmas and we are only on the beginning of the second page of this thread!  I don't know about everyone else, but I'm really looking forward to this weekend!

I just printed Joe's boarding pass to Nashville tomorrow. The Kentuckians are supposed to pick him up so he can play there a couple days.  We'll meet in St. Louis on Thursday.

Hi guys, looking forward to seeing you this weekend. We got about 2-4 inches of snow last night but it's supposed to finish later this morning. The rest of the week looks clear and cold until Sunday and we may get a little more snow then.

Yes....but we are poor. We can't keep the furnace set on 90 degrees so he will feel comfortable. ;)

It's a good way to be - rough, tough, and used to hardships.

He traveled light Jimi, you might have to stop at that special store so he can buy  long johns and overalls. :)

I have plenty so that won't be a problem. We are even putting flannel sheets on the bed so he will be toasty. ;)

Well your husband bought some Makers Mark and after 2 drinks (around 6pm) he almost passed out and I had to get him to bed....such a wimp.

Cute though how little slobbers comes out of his mouth when his mouth is open and his eyes are closed. ;D

Linda is coming with!!!  I was going to leave right after class Fri morning, but I'm going to wait until lunch time and then pull my daughter for the afternoon.  We'll take her to Princeton (sort of on the way =/- an hour) and let her see her Grandparents and older sister for the weekend and then beat feet for St Louis!  Hope to get there before to late in the evening.  Can't wait!

No pics of this but we all went to a movie tonight.  We were the only ones in the entire theatre.

We were watching "The fighter"  at one point they are playing a song...Joe starts singing along, Jimi joins in (loud)  I'm looking around for security...

Then Joe leaves to go to the bathroom....Ruth and Jimi and I change seats to the very bottom of the rows,  and when Joe gets back he's confused.

     Our plan went well! ;D
