Well he tried the lithium with verapimil they even tweaked the dosage a bit but it seemed to make things worse. Soooo he is off the lithium now. Back to the drawing board. Hopefully going to a specialist soon.

What were the dosages? It takes a high dose of both to be effective for some sufferers...plus it takes a couple weeks or so to build in ones system.

I don't remember what they were. he was on them for about two months. It seemed to intensify things.

You should really find out what the dosages were. That way we can tell you if they're in the range of what most sufferers need.
