END PRINTPAGE. It cost me $59 and the blood draw was accomplished at Labcorp facility three minutes from where I do my grocery shopping.
It takes about 20 minutes after you complete the purchase to get the order back in email and simultaneously the lab location you have chosen is sent the order electronically.
I couldn't have been at the Labcorp facility more than two or three minutes before the blood was drawn and I was out the door. :)
They notify Request a Test within 24 to 48 hours and Request a Test posts the results on your account and sends you an email.
I did shop around, i.e., I called our family doctor's office and the estimate (since it would also require an office visit and a complete exam) was $300 to $400.
LabCorp cannot do a test without an "order" and in this case, Request a Test becomes you physician surrogate. :)
