Title: D3 regimen and children
Post by jmac on Apr 15th, 2015 at 9:28pm
I can't believe it but we think our 7 year old has cluster headaches.  I have been suffering (episodic) for about 14 years.

The d3 regimen really seemed to help me.  However,  is there a different dosage recommended for children?

D3 can alter the way the body absorbs calcium, magnesium etc, so while I agree it's a wonderful regimen and has helped so many of us, I would be wary with a child. Her bones are growing ad developing so you need to be very careful about calcium levels etc. My best advice would be to send a PM to Batch, and also find an open minded doctor for vital blood tests if you go ahead.

I too would be very cautious here with a child. First step is to get a very solid diagnosis from a headache specialist that you trust. Young growing bodies are very complex and need to be treated very carefully.

I really hope that you get things sorted out for her soon.
