I'm camped up on Wonga Beach in beautiful Tropical North Queensland wearing only shorts, a hat and a smile.

I'm sitting on an esky full of cold, cold beer and I've two fishing lines out with no bait on them at all.

Dinner tonight is prawns and barramundi,  all caught fresh today,   a salad picked this morning,  and potatoes cooked in the embers.  Then we'll drink more beer,  flash the fire up further,  and pull out the guitar for a bit of fun under a startling night sky.

Forgive me not taking part in International Grumpy Mugs Day.


(As a point of interest,  the picture up beside my name is one I took only a couple of months ago in this very spot.)

In truth, I’m on holiday myself.

Enjoying a stay in Budapest, Hungary this week. An absolutely amazing city.

Heading to Bologna in Italy next week for Pasta and Seafood and lots of Bella Figura.

So, I will pass on the grumpy old man day this year too.

I'd never heard of  "Bella figura"  so I looked it up.

How wonderful our world would be if there was more of it about.
