Title: Migraine and D3.

It's not Cluster related but certainly it's headache related so I thought I'd pass it on for general interest.

Great post Brian.

It really will help a lot that people are working on gold standard medical trials, i.e. double blind trials with placebos, testing how D3 can impact headaches. Whilst this trial isn't for CH, we've seen a lot of success where stuff that works for migraines also works for CH (imitrex / sumatriptan is a classic example of this).

What is also interesting is that the success was seen with a relatively low does (4000iU - if my calculations are right) of D3 and not the 10kIU people use for Batch's "recipe" and no mention of the co-factors. So if just the D3 alone in a smaller dose can have a significant impact on migraine, this is good.

Of course there are many, many people who have used D3 for CH and we know it can work amazingly well, getting D3 to be used as one of the "go to" preventives for people treating CH around the world (and migraine) it is essential to get gold standard medical trials like this completed to convince headache specialists and neurologists that this "officially" works and that they should try it on their patients.

It is amazing how many people from these forums and elsewhere have benefited from using D3, but there will be millions of people around the world with CH and migraine who could benefit but they haven't found these forums or elsewhere where the D3 recipe has been shared or that their treating doctors just don't know or don't trust the informal evidence we have so far that it works.

Hopefully there are more to follow!
