What the daughter of a clusterhead did to help
Mar 28th, 2008 at 2:41am

I was about to lose my job because I had called off of work once again due to the demon.  The place I work in is run with only minimal employees, so when someone calls off it is a big problem.

I work as a dishwasher in a resteraunt.  I have a 15yr old daughter who voluteered to cover for me at work anytime I couldn't do it.  The boss agreed to let her take one of the busier nights and let her try.  She did awesome!!

Now I feel better because I know that my job is secure.  My daughter told me that she loves the fact that she can make some extra money, and also that it is something she can do to help me.

Talk about a great supporter for me.  I hope she knows what a weight this has taken off of me, and how proud I am to be her mother.

You certainly have a right to be proud Kitty.  What a great job you're doing of raising a daughter to be empathetic as well as wanting to work.  Good job Mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should be proud - both of you and of her!  You definitely did something right.  What a wonderful, wonderful thing.

Thank you for sharing that - it sure put a big smile on my face, and I needed one.

Give that girl some extra hugs!

I have to admit I felt a little teary eyed reading this.  What a wonderful young lady your daughter is to do something like that - says a lot about your parenting.

Many hugs to both of you.
