Good news
May 23rd, 2008 at 12:53pm

OK, so we went to our ultrasound this morning.  Mainly we wanted to find out if it was twins or not.

It's twins.

One of the blobs is smaller than the other blob, but both blobs are beautiful and have tiny little beating blobby hearts.

Now we have 8 months to go (probably less, no way will Jen carry twins full term).  Looks like we are on track for Christmas babies.

We are, of course, excited and nervous.  I think our doctor is more nervous than we are... this is our ninth cycle with him, and our third pregnancy with him.  He calls Jen his 'problem child'.  Next ultrasound in two weeks...

Somebody send me some valium.   Smiley

I have plenty of valium and I think I just might take one.  Boy the thought of twins makes me crazy just remembering my twins pregnancy and birth not to mention raising them.  I was a problem child as well.  Now my twins are 23 and having babies of there own.  One just called me two days ago telling me I am going to be a grandma again.  I can't wait!  I love them grandbabies.  Oh but the thought of all that babysitting.  I think I will take a valium.  panic attack city.  BTW Congradulations Shaun.  This is wonderful news.  I am very excited for you.  Keep us posted on the progress.

Here's a formula I just came up with for babysitting twins:

2 bags potato chips + 2 cans soda pop + 1 TV + 1 valium (for babysitter) = relative peace and quiet.
