55 days pain free
May 28th, 2008 at 12:46pm

I think its safe to say its over now.  The first 40 or so of these 55 days had daily shadow.  The last week, any shadow lasted like a minute.  Unlike Dennis, for me this was the hardest cycle for many reasons.  But I am now better epuipped for the next one.  Hopefully another 4 year break is here for me.  I remember having days of desperation and not wanting to live.  I can honestly say it was this place that kept me sane. Just when I thought my mind could rest a bit, life takes another shot at me.  My stomach is in knots yet again.  Won't go into details other than to say my Dad is a dope.  Always stood behind him and always will but he really screwed up this time.

sorry 'bout your Dad Kevin, but wahoo on the remission.

I seem to be phasing in after way too short of a time...we'll see.

Fantastic news, Kev!

Keep on keeping on.

Don't know what Dad did, and don't wanna know.  I'm sorry that it has upset you.

Just continue to do your CH routine and know that we're all here to help you in any way we can.

Congrats on the 55 days!

Sandy

Now the goal can be to quit counting, worry a little less and live a lot more. If living between the hits is what we all should do you can hope to be doing a lot of living while you're out of cycle.

Go get'm!

I happy for your break from the beast and sorry you are experiencing pain in other ways.  Good luck with your Dad.

Don't be a stranger.  I've grown used to your voice around here  Wink

Where there is life, there is hope.
Where there is Oxygen, you must use proper caution.
So be safe, don't smoke while using O2. Kill the pain and not yourself.

thanks all.  I am almost breathing a sigh of relief on all fronts.  My Dad should be thankful I know the people I know.  Still keeping fingers crossed but he may be the luckiest SOB eve
