Just had to mention publicly...
Jun 6th, 2008 at 9:52am

...that we're very happy with El's schoolwork this year.  Yesterday was her last day of class, and she finished strong with a 3.66 GPA for her Junior year, and somewhere around a 3.5 GPA overall.

We got her a gift certificate for an art supply store downtown--not anything expected or promised--just to recognize her for her hard work.  She had a very demanding schedule this year, including three AP classes.

Don't know if I'm ready for my little girl to be a senior in high school, but ready or not, here it comes.   Tongue

Best,

George

I hope you are never afraid to tell of your kid's progress and what she does that is good.  They need the affirmation, and we need the encouragement.

I hope you and El enjoy the senior year. It is so exciting and goes way to fast. Many sentences will start with "Dad, I need a check for...." I can't wait to see what she does. She has so much talent and drive! I'm still playing phone tag with Zach's mom but should have some info. really soon. Congratulations on all of your accomplishments El!! Keep up the good work.
