For me it triggers an attack almost immediately, but this doesn't necessarily hold true for others.

I have no idea.  I did occasionally use artificial sweeteners a long time ago.  The taste bothered me, and I decided I would either use a bit of sugar or do without.

Don't know if it's a CH trigger for me, but it always gave me a tension-type headache. I avoid it at all costs now.

Sugar is a much simpler molecule to metabolize.

It will induce a long lasting terrible migraine for me.  It does nothing concerning ch.  I avoid it like the plague.

Couldn't say.  I won't knowingly eat it.

Best,

For years I took daily 10 - 15 Aspertams, one with each cup of coffee or tea.

Two years ago, I decided to give up this repugnant sweet stuff.

It didn't make a difference for CH.

I am a huge diet coke drinker.  Early in my cycle this time around i avoided many things that i read about on this site that could be a trigger.  I read aspartame was a trigger for some-  so i cut out all diet cokes-  drank black coffee like crazy in high cycle.

when i was painfree for about two weeks after starting verap-  i added back in diet cokes slowly. No hits - back to normal amount of diet coke pre cycle- cycle is over now

So for me- who knows?  IT is real hard for me to tell when i'm in high cycle what food could be contributingexcept for one connection i made .    There is one drink- COld Capri Sun ( think little kids juice boxes) that if i drank them while in high cyle caused me to have serious shadows that would end up in a HA

I love Diet Coke, but I figured one less possible trigger in my life was probably better.  They make a version of Diet Coke with Splenda instead of aspartame.  It has a yellow stripe on the top of the can and the Splenda logo on it.  I've only seen it in a can, but it does the trick for me.
