Mine are all mushy sappy songs right now so I'll refrain from adding them; for music changes with the state of my life and emotions.

johnny paycheck is from greenfield ohio which is about 20 miles from where i live and there's a mom and pop radio station that plays allot of  his more obscure recordings and they usually tell you a short story before they play it. alot of them are 45s and they skip sometimes.

What rocks your world?
My wife and kids…….
Kids.... when you listen to the stuff they pipe trough the “equipment” they posses, my head rocks, no wonder I have CH.... and what puzzles me, they insist it is music....... (I must have missed some thing along the way)
Wife.... Oh, will not say much, but still love it.....
Jonny, I don’t think you are interested in my (life) story....
this is about music....
so this Is an example.....

My daughter had a mix cd in my car and I actually found a couple songs on it that I liked.  Suprise, it's not a rap or hip hop song!

Ranges from can to can't.

Sample of artists I listen to
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Poison
Celtic-pretty much any kind
Big And Rich (first album)
Sweet Honey In the Rock
Journey
AC DC
White Mansions
various bluegrass
Zachary Richard (zydeco)

And the list goes on forever.  I listen to World Radio quite a bit and pick up new musicians/new music from there.  Also listen to NPR classical stations.

When it comes to music?

I hate most of the music that is coming out of the radio these days, so I listen to a lot of talk shows (I think im my father now.....LOL) but, that dont mean I have forgot my rock roots!  Smiley

I was just wondering if any of you would like to post a music video of a song that gets your groove on?

Mine?, it goes back a ways, but here it is!

The Cult - Fire Woman

(Nani, you wont like this one  Kiss )

Edit to add: Triva question.....The drummer in this video went on to play for the biggest band in the world (at the time).....whats his name?

Great song, great video, and the drummer (Matt, I think) went on to play for Guns & Roses, after Stephen Adler was booted from the band for being too strung out on heroin.

I really dig Motley Crue. Their latest album, "Saints Of Los Angeles," they sound better than ever. Awesome album...

I listen to tons of different things:

Taking Back Sunday
Armor For Sleep
Brand New
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
The Cure
Tears For Fears
The Cult
L7
Death Cab For Cutie
Stone Temple Pilots
ACDC
The Church
Sisters Of Mercy

Etc. etc....
