The Bitch on Wheels is a thing of the past... and I'm on to bigger and better things.  And there came the big test of this tonight...

I had the "proof" of the Our Voice in hand and I had the boy child, Dyl look it over.  He about flipped when he saw that a 5 month old chapter of his trillogy was being re-run. 

So we get home and I call the BOW to get some phone numbers.  She called back and gave them to me and wish me luck, stating that she's sure it already went to press. 

So I made the calls, and I get around to Katie, who called the press room and NO it wasn't at press yet.  So she calls Leanne who comes in to get the right chapter email.  Leanne calls me and said it will fit the page fine, just converted to a 3 column format.  Easy enough and we let it go, and I call the BOW back and let her know that the crisis was averted, it HADN"T gone to press and pg. 11 was resent with the right copy.

All I needed from her was a phone number, but the error was corrected without her. 

I am SOOOO glad that she and I will be on an even level now.  I can actually feel free to tell her she is wrong when she is.

Freedom and liberation...I'm pumped.
