He's back................GRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Jun 27th, 2008 at 2:03am

The beast is back!!! *says REALLY bad 4 letter words* Never fails just about the time I think we have thing under control, BAM! The beast shows up all over again. Dave has been doing "another" treatment and been PF for sooooooo long that when he got a "minor" hit the other night I thought no prob. When I say "minor" I mean 2 Trex injections and done. Then tonight, totally different story. Will does his narrow, lilly white, peach fuzz covered ass this evening. Also what is it, when he's PF Im getting slammed with migraines? Yea I know this is not a migraine board, so shoot me, I dont care. Pain is pain no matter how you slice it! Due to new anti depressents I cant take ANY triptan drugs! GRRRRRRRRRRRR so all I can do is take OTC meds and hope and pray they work! When they dont I just have to deal.
Cant get app. with VA for about a month, but have Trex for him stock piled!! HEHEHEHE Figured the beast would show back up again sooner or later. So when I found out I could get the Trex every 3 months better bet your ass I called it in!! I just hope the "other" meds get here soon and we dont run out of Trex before then. Other wise life is going. Thats all I can say for it, life that is........going.
In laws due here on the 3rd. Father in law is way COOL mother in law........never mind  Roll Eyes thats another story all in its self. LOL  Smiley
But any where here we go again yall.
Ill stop whining now, yall may return to your lives.

Hang in there Leesa. Hopefully, Dave does another treatment, and it kills them off again. I'm sorry to hear about your head, I get them too. Do you have O2? I've tried it for the migraines, and sometimes it works. Sucks that you can't take triptans, sometimes if I catch one early, I can take 4 ibuprofen, and it helps. With caffeine. I know energy drinks like Red Bull, or Rock star helps with CH hits, I wonder if it would work for your migraines.

Hang in there, and keep us posted... on both of you. Smiley

Leesa, I agree, pain is pain and it all sucks.  Sorry to hear you both are having to go through it.

Clusterheads who cannot use triptans sometimes get good relief from Olanzapine aka Zyprexa.  Since migraine meds work for clusters, maybe the Zyprexa will reciprocate and help with your migraines?  I dunno, but it is definitely worth researching and discussing with your doc.

Hoping for some relief for y'all soon.

Mike

Leesa,

I'm so sorry to hear that you both are in pain (I know that migraines are dreadful, too). Lots of PF wishes to you both! Smiley

Yep, my beast is back as well!  Damn it!  I'm about 2 months early!  The dosing doesn't seem to be helping right now...I hope and pray that it starts working asap!

I hope that you all get through this smoothly!

They always come at the most inopportune times, but there's never a good time!

Take care!
