It seems there has been a terrible rash of deaths, sicknesses, bad luck and otherwise terrible things. Well, I am SICK of it!!!
Enough bad news. No more fucking bad news!!

So, here's a good news thread: Feel free to add to it.

Stinky is having a birthday party in 8 days! We are going to have fun planning it and have a great party with lots of cake.

I have only had 3 CHs in the last week!

What good news do you guys have?

El got a note from one of the colleges she applied to, saying that her ACT scores were high enough that she could skip her required English core classes if she chooses to go there, and get college credit for them anyway.

I think that's pretty darn good news.

And EJ is almost finished with the Highway District project from hell. Also good news. Perhaps I'll see her occasionally now.

I saved a lot on my car insurance at Geicko? OK, I didn't and that makes this bad news, exactly what the poster didn't want.... damn it.

Lemme try again. Its really warm outside, but that could be global warming and it means a lot of UV rays to worry about... dang more bad news. Sorry Ill get this right.

OK I got it..... the Celtics are NBA champs...... wait, you could be a Laker fan and that would then be bad news again..... dog gone it...I will get it right.

I am going out to lunch with a friend I havent seen in a while. Of course Ill eat the wrong foods and so it wont be healthy for me and that too is bad news..... wow, Im bad at this.

My kids are healthy!!!! That is definitely good news!!!

On the drive home from work I have to go past the coast road of a bay, the sun shone, the sea was blue with diamonds sparkling on it, then up a country lane where a hay field has been mown, the smell is like heaven and all golds and greens. Have you ever noticed how many shades of green there are in the fields, on the trees, in the grasses.

I had all three daughters and my husband at the dinner table along side my two beautiful grandaughters, its Friday night and no work for two days. To day is a good day Grin

OH yes I also get to meet some of you in less than two weeks

I couldn't agree more! Today has been a VERY tough one for me, and those of us at work (see my OTHER thread, the DOWNER one).

THIS thread is all HAPPY thoughts! and I have a BEAUT of a happy thought!

My OUCH Convention Grandson (born during 2006 convention) is coming down to visit with us TONIGHT!!! (Oh, I think his parents are coming too ...)

WOOHOO!!!!!

And THEN, to make it even BETTER, his parents are taking off, and leaving him with us for ONE WHOLE WEEK!!!

Oh, man!!! I am gonna have SO much fun, teaching him bad habits, and dirty words!!!

My cat still loves me even with morning breath.
I got dirty old men and some young ones too look at my boobs and they sag some. Thank god for good bras!!!
And if that fails I just gotta laugh because it hurts too much and is too boring to cry all the time. Smiley

Now I have just three weeks to move in, tear down the old office, put in a new 20 foot layout table and welder (in place of the old office), hire a new fabricator...Because in three weeks I will get delivery of $55,000 worth of stainless steel for a Monster job!
