Stress starting a cycle
Jul 5th, 2008 at 5:37pm

Well, I never would have believed it, but it's true. As most of you know, my life has been in total chaos the last 2 months do to my sons cancer. It was 4 years 5 months and 14 days without a cycle. (longest remission ever was 18 months). Today is day 3. WOW... almost forgot just how bad these suckers get. My son requires 02 full time so I have it available as needed and I have a stockpile of Trex thank God.

As far as my son's update. He is out of the hospital, but not doing good at all. Can't eat and is down to 118 pounds. He will continue getting radiation for the next 7 weeks. On a good note, the tumor has shrunk some so there is still hope. My wife quit work to take care of him full time and they both are living in Indiana as it is closer to Chicago for his daily radiation treatments. Been rough but taking it one day at a time. Thanks for listening.

Love,
Bob & Cindy

That sucks, man. Now is not the time you need that (but isn't that par for the course with these things). Know that we're all pullin' for ya, and if there is anything I can do, feel free to get ahold of me. I wish there was more I could say or do right now, but sending prayers I know I can handle.

I'm beggining to think the same thing jonny. I know there's nothing anyone can do at this point, but thanks for the offers of encouragement and for the help when I need it. Sorry for sending such depressing news on here all the time, it just helps to let it out sometimes.

Good news or bad news I still want to know.  You guys are still on my vibe list and it looks like you'll be there for a while yet.

Stress impacts sleep and eating patterns which feed my CH too.  Sucks but the beast seems to get jealous of the other forms of pain we endure and wants to make sure he gets his share.

((((VIBES))))

Sorry to hear that you ended up with a cycle stacked on top of everything else.  Very sorry to hear that your son is still having such a difficult time.

You're still in our thoughts, daily.

All the best,

George
