.....please say some prayers for my grandmother. She has cancer in both her lung and hip bone. I'm very scared to loose this woman because when I was little she and my grandfather pratically raised me while my mom was else where. She is a big part of my life and unfortuatly fading rather fast. I don't usually bring my personal life on the board but this supporter could use a little support herself. I know that a lot of you are busy or facing your own issues but if you could find the time to please say a little prayer for her, I would really apricate it. Thank you.

NEVER too busy to send up some Vibes..........Grandmas are special people-I know, coz mine's gonna be 103 in a few weeks. She's outlived all 3 of her children, and is only now beginning to show signs of fading.
Please remember, cancer is NOT as threatening as it once was. grandma could very well get past this, but, it surely doesn't hurt to make every day important!
Mu vibes are on their way.
Please keep us posted.

Cathi-Will do on keeping you posted. The cancer in her lung is terminal and we're not sure about the one mass in her hip.

Thank you all again. It means a lot more than you really know. I wrote this today when I wasn't feeling the best about things so I hope you like it. Just the only way I can make it through sometimes, I guess. It's for her and it's called Fly Away.

On feathered white wings,
I watch you fly away.
To a glowing place,
where cherib angels play.

Tears fill my eyes,
as I stare into the sun.
Scared and now so alone,
with no one or where to run.

The sky opens up,
just enough for you to slip through.
Then closes behind you,
me left wondering what to do.

Where do I go from here?
With no you to light my way.
Why did you have to leave?
While I have to stay.

It's not fair damn it!
I hit the ground, scraping my knee.
My heart shakes with sobs.
I only pray that you can't see.

Don't see my weakness,
be blind to my pain.
Your own tears come down,
they drench me in the rain.

You're missing me,
only half as much as I miss you.
I have your memory,
but only the real thing will do.

I loved your poem, and I hope you know you aren't alone.
That we are here for you, to help pick you up and do what ever we can to help. I know that nothing we can say will make it all better, but knowing you aren't alone does help. I liked it better when you could kiss the boo boo and everything was right with the world again.

I just found out that her blood counts were off so she had to go to hospital and will be in overnite for transfusions. Please keep her in your prayers. She needs it more than ever right now. Broken
