Well we had London Broil medium rare from the grill, streamed broccoli, new potatoes and marinated grilled zucchini slices (bloody gorgeous) That was Paul's cooking and it was just perfect. I made a bolognese sauce to go with pasta for tomorrow with ciabatta bread. I'm about to make a sopapilla cheesecake too since I got the recipe from one of my friends in Texas (not a ch'er)

Well now Brew it's like this - if there is anything I wanted Paul would move heaven and earth to get it for me - yes I AM lucky! It works both ways though and I love doing things for him too.  Smiley

Ummmm... I started out with 6 single serve ribs and ended up with a bakers dozen.

Funny how they fall into pieces like that...

Well, I had aspirations of cooking something succulent out on the grill.  But instead it's tuna noodle caserole I'm taking over to my bro-in-law's house for dinner as he has had a migraine for most of the day.

And popsickles

Rib-eyes grilled over alder, oak and maple charcoal.  Have you tried Jack Daniels steak sauce yet?  Pretty good stuff.

Salad with fresh baby greens tossed with sesame/shiitake dressing, and a loaf of crusty multigrain bread with olive oil for dipping.

It's hot here, so I'll put together some root-beer floats later on, which I know that El will enjoy.

Maybe a little skosh of Gentleman Jack late in the evening--I'll probably make a mint julep for EJ.  She's developed a taste for them.   Wink

Best,

George

Once dishes are done, I'm sending the teen units to Cold Stone up on the corner for dessert.

The early to bed for a heavy week of balancing meetings, appointments and cold calls.

They deserve the treat, they did laundry today as well as helped me detail the Aztek.

Well DAMN!!!  I KNEW I forgot to do something today!

Maybe THAT is why my stomach is making all those noises!  Maybe I should eat something today?

NAH!!!  Too much work to prepare, and then clean up ... Besides, I have enough stored in my fat belly to survive a day (or more) without eating ...

We had whole wheat pasta with sausage pieces and side salad (new season cabbage, tomatoes, cucumber and carrot slices). It was delicious! Smiley

And cheese potato chips with our movie night. Smiley
