What do I think about the sentence... The judge was too lenient!
Cleveland has turned into a war zone... I have a few friends who have been brutalized by these thugs... beaten and pistol whipped for a few dollars, and a friend of a friend who was stabbed 14 times for $55.00! He died.

During our last trip to Cleveland Ben and I was sitting at a Cafe having dinner on the patio when we saw a group of thugs running toward the front of the restaurant. I was talking to a friend on my cell phone when suddenly, we heard a loud commotion and someone pleading...

Ben and I jumped up to see what was happening (We were the only ones... everyone else just sat there as if they didn't care). A group of five young adults were standing over this poor old man who was saying "I don't know you! I don't know you!" I screamed at them to stop and they all looked up and saw that I was on the phone and scrambled.... by then someone came out of the restaurant and saw to the old man.

When I was growing up I was taught to treat my elders with respect and reverence, I couldn't fathom running an old man down and assaulting him!

I say if you're involved in a vicious assault on someone with the intent to rob... if convicted... EXECUTION!!!! and who was it that said "If I become president there would be no death row... there would be DEATH WEEK."?

If we were to hire George Forman to beat thugs like that until blood came out of every orifice of there body, that would be enough for me.

George would make a lot more money than he will ever make selling modified waffle irons!

We seem to complain about crime here, then give em a light sentence. Banning this or that doesn't solve our problems. Punishment works !!!

Now I hear that cops in some cities actually have to stop a pursuit if it gets too "dangerous"


My solution? Automatic 10 years in the slammer for running from the cops. How many people would run then? A lot less I suspect.

  They wanna take my guns for the criminal acts of others!!!

My solution: automatic 20 years in prison for ANY crime committed using a firearm. I don't care if they don't fire it and only rob the liquor store for 10 bucks.


The damn Gooberment needs to stop punishing me and threatening to take my rights away for the acts of others. I'm about tired of the knee-jerk reaction justice system we have. Punish the criminals, not the law-abiding citizens.

Wow -- I LIKE that Judge... He cuts right thru the B$ and gets to the point. If we had more like him we'd need more prisons, but there would be alot less criminals on the strees...

The way he talked, I think he'd have put the mother in jail also....
