Cat - oh my lovely, lovely friend.. no words just tears and love from me.

Bear in mind, I'm now armed and dangerous thanks to Goatie, I can drive from one end of the Adirondacks back to home and I'm not afraid of nuffink.

You need us, we're there. In body, in mind, in spirit. You have all of us right there with you whenever you need us I promise.

lots of love

Ok latest update, we got Ayden's echocardiogram done this morning, and we talked with the tech who said the echo looked good but that it had to read by the cardiologist.  The packers showed up and were able to get my entire house packed except the garage and the master bedroom (it's dump central for stuff we aren't sure what we are doing with yet)

Of course I promised a couple different people that I was going straight to bed to get some sleep and rest right after I was done my post last night - that didn't work out.  I went into the house and saw a bazillion things that needed to be done before 8 a.m. so I set about doing them.  Then I took a break and came out to the deck to have a smoke and read a bit somewhere around 5:30ish- and that's where Clark found me with my head on the patio table sound asleep at 7 a.m.

We are walking out the door in 5 min. to go to the appointment with the pediatrician and find out exactly how Ayden is doing.  His cough is much much worse today, and he is very tired which is unusual for him.

I will post as soon as we get back and have some answers from Dr. Whitcomb about whether Ayden's condition is very serious, or if it's a false reading and a normal abnormality along with the rest of us who all have congenital or hereditary cardiac defects or abnormalities.

Thank you all so much for the love and support.  I can feel a miracle working Smiley

Sorry I didn't update sooner, unfortunately I have 2 teenagers who decided that everything in their lives suddenly became an absolute emergency and required my immediate and undivided attention........

They were hungry  Smiley

Well there's good news and there's bad news.

The good news is that the echo was 100% accurate and the EKG was a false read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smiley  Smiley  Smiley  Smiley It turns out that sure enough, Ayden is following in the footsteps of the family defects.  We seriously need some chlorine in this gene pool!!  I have never been so relieved in my life.  When the tech this morning said the echo looked good, I had high hopes, but wasn't going to be fully satisfied until I heard it straight from the lips of Dr. Whitcomb, the God of Pediatricians (IMO of course).  Because of the genetics she is writing a letter to go with him to NC to whoever takes over his care there because there's a possibility he may have or be prone to asthma and high cholesterol as well as all sorts of autoimmune issues HOWEVER he does NOT have right ventricular hypertrophy caused by pulmonary hypertension - he does NOT have RVH AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am positive that we got the results we wanted and needed as a direct result from the miracles that the love, support, prayers, vibes, juju and positive energy that the angels of this family have provided in what was most certainly my most dire and terrifying nightmare of my life.
Smiley Smiley

Now the bad news.....

Ayden has a pretty bad sinus infection  Grin Roll Eyes   Some antibiotics and some Nasonex and the Doc says he'll be right as rain and back to being his energetic self within 48 hours Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

Thank you everyone, I love you all, and no matter how many thank you's I write on this screen or say to you, they will never be enough.  I truly believe that it is all of you and the love being sent to Ayden that turned that RVH on his EKG into nothing more than a normal abnormal reading as the doc put it.

Much love and thanks

WOOHOO!!!
Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

I am not ashamed to say that tears are streaming down my cheeks with this news.  Tears of joy and relief!

Who would EVER suspect that I would be cheering and jumping for joy, that one of our children has a severe sinus infection?!?!

You have made my day, Cat!  Hell you made my whole MONTH!!

Sweet Goddess.

Chuck is not the only one crying.

Not that I need to ask you to do this, but give that little boy a huge hug.

Now please make sure that you take care of yourself too.  I know the move is going to take a lot out of you, but please take a little time to get your head around everything that has happened.

Blessed be, my sister.
Call me if you need anything.  I am sure that I can make up some more incense for you if you want it for the new place.
Let me know
Tia

Another prayer answered!   Blessings to you and your family.   I can't help but be so angry that you all were put through all that.  I can't believe that any doctor would give  such a terrible Rx with out being positive!   Shame on them!

I am so glad it all worked out.

Hugs,

Jeannie
